Registering on uRoutine

You can register on uRoutine either via the website or our mobile app. Our app is available on both iOS and Android and you can download the app from Apple's App Store or the Google Play store.

Step 1 of registration will ask you for the following details:

• First Name - This can either be your first name or a display name you wish to use on your profile.
• Username - This is your unique identifier and can consist of letters, numbers and periods. People will be able to easily find your profile by searching for your username. No spaces or other characters are permitted here.
• Email Address - Your email address and you'll need to verify it as part of registration.
• Password - A strong password with at least 8 characters, a combination of letters, numbers, upper and lowercase and a symbol. You should never share your password with anybody else.

During registration you will also need to confirm you agree to our privacy policy and terms of use. These are essential in ensuring we have the necessary permissions from you to manage your data securely and outline how we maintain your privacy, alongside what we expect from you as a user of uRoutine.

After completing the first step, Step 2 of registration will ask just a few more questions to expand your profile. The details we'll ask you for on step 2 of registration are as follows:

• Your Location - Your nearest town or city. We use this to determine your timezone for routines and commitments, and display this on search results to help people find friends and connections.
• Your Date of Birth - This will never appear on your profile. We simply use this to verify you are 18+ and able to use uRoutine. We restrict children and young adults from joining, primarily for safety reasons.
• Profile Bio - This will appear on your profile and can be as short or long as you wish. We'd recommend 1-3 sentences, introducing yourself, outlining your goals and a bit about who you are.
• Profile Picture - This is optional but highly recommended. Profile pictures make profiles more visible across uRoutine, helping to bring your personality to life and encourage further engagement from others.

The final step of registration is verifying your email address. We will send you a verification code to the email address you submitted in step 1 of registration. Simply copy that code from your email, in order to verify your account and begin using uRoutine. Not receiving your code? Please check your spam or junk folder.

Please note: if you do not verify your account within 24-hours from starting registration, your account details will be deleted. After that time, should you wish to register then you'll need to restart the above two steps.
